One system on the incoming supply serves downstream water-using equipment. Size against actual simultaneous household demand, with the installation and supply conditions reviewed by a qualified installer.

ZoneGuard’s catalytic crystallization approach encourages dissolved hardness minerals to form microcrystals carried with the water, rather than bonding as scale to surfaces.

It does not remove hardness minerals and does not produce softened water. No salt regeneration, electrical power or replaceable filter media is required.

Before you choose

Questions, answered.

Is this a water softener?

No. ZoneGuard does not remove calcium or magnesium. It addresses scale formation through catalytic crystallization, without salt regeneration.

How should I select the model?

Choose the application first, then verify actual peak flow, supply conditions and the published operating limits. Tankless is dedicated to tankless heaters; Plus and Pro serve whole-home applications. Do not count the same hot-water flow twice.

Does it replace heater maintenance?

Follow the water-heater manufacturer’s maintenance and water-quality requirements. Do not treat scale-prevention equipment as permission to disregard those requirements.

Who should install it?

Use a qualified installer and the applicable model instructions. This whole-home model uses 1-inch NPT connections. Typical installation time: approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on site conditions and existing plumbing. Application illustrations are conceptual.
