The application

Purpose engineered.
For tankless water heating.

A tankless heater concentrates heat into a compact exchanger. Tankless is dedicated to the heater application, within its stated optimum treatment range.

Heater output depends on input, efficiency and temperature rise. A heater’s maximum advertised GPM is not its output at every inlet temperature.

Conceptual view of water interacting with the permanent catalytic core

Permanent catalytic core

Address scale formation.
Keep the minerals.

ZoneGuard’s catalytic crystallization approach encourages dissolved hardness minerals to form microcrystals carried with the water, rather than bonding as scale to surfaces.

It does not remove hardness minerals and does not produce softened water. No salt regeneration, electrical power or replaceable filter media is required.

Before you choose

Questions, answered.

Is this a water softener?

No. ZoneGuard does not remove calcium or magnesium. It addresses scale formation through catalytic crystallization, without salt regeneration.

How should I select the model?

Choose the application first, then verify actual peak flow, supply conditions and the published operating limits. Tankless is dedicated to tankless heaters; Plus and Pro serve whole-home applications. Do not count the same hot-water flow twice.

Does it replace heater maintenance?

Follow the water-heater manufacturer’s maintenance and water-quality requirements. Do not treat scale-prevention equipment as permission to disregard those requirements.

Who should install it?

Use a qualified installer and the applicable model instructions. This dedicated-heater model uses 3/4-inch male NPT connections. Typical installation time: approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on site conditions and existing plumbing. Application illustrations are conceptual.

Where can I find model-specific information?

One technology. Three applications.

Choose the right ZoneGuard.

Dedicated tankless protection. Whole-home coverage. Higher-demand homes. Each model has a defined application and operating envelope.

Choose by application and actual peak flow, not fixture count alone. Published capacities are not guarantees of simultaneous fixture performance.
